I am not aware that out of 100 lorries in the Rush area only 30 were able to attend the Dublin markets during the period referred to by the Deputy. In the absence of particulars of the lorry owners concerned and the dates on which evidence of the taxation of their vehicles reached my Department, I am unable to accept the statement that the absence of the lorry owners from the Dublin markets was due to the failure of my Department to forward petrol coupons to them for the month of July.
