During the period 1st July, 1945, to 31st October, 1946, inclusive, 494 complete touring cars, value £134,936, manufactured in Great Britain, and two complete touring cars, value £779, manufactured in the United States of America, were imported. In addition, 11 complete touring cars, value £1,600, were reimported in the period. As particulars regarding the makes and horse-power of the cars imported are not recorded it is not possible to furnish the other information desired by the Deputy.
