The remuneration attaching to the position of caretaker at Wexford Military Barracks is at the rate of 25/- per week, plus 7/- per week emergency bonus, plus free quarters. This is the normal rate payable by my Department to caretakers generally at evacuated military barracks and posts throughout the country.
This rate of pay, in conjunction with the pay of certain other classes in the public service, is at present under consideration.
