Will the Minister indicate what was the justification for the increase in prices?

The higher market prices realised for cattle and sheep.

And only that?

I took into account also the higher operating costs of butchers arising from various causes since the prices were fixed previously.

Did the Victuallers' Association themselves ask for the increase in prices which the Minister sanctioned?

They did.
