asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will direct Córas Iompair Éireann to arrange for a morning bus service to Dublin, on the Birr-Banagher-Ferbane-Tullamore route, to meet the needs of the people of West Offaly.

I am advised that Córas Iompair Éireann would be unable at present to provide an additional bus for this route unless they diverted a vehicle from some other service. The time table of the present service is considered to be the best that can be provided until additional vehicles become available.
