I am informed that the Electricity Supply Board have been investigating the possibility of providing a supply of electricity in the Spiddal area under the rural electrification scheme. It will not be possible to say whether the area will justify early development until the result of the canvass is known but I will inform the Deputy of the decision at the earliest possible moment.
