A public telephone will be installed in Rathdangan as part of the scheme to provide one at every post office. Work on this scheme, however, has been suspended temporarily in favour of more urgent construction work—particularly the provision of telephones for waiting applicants—and it is not possible to say, at present, when a public telephone will be provided at Rathdangan.
