asked the Minister for Justice if he will state in respect of each of the six months ended 30th June, 1947; 31st December, 1947, and 30th June, 1948 (1) the number of appeals lodged with the Appeal Board under (a) Section 8 of the Censorship of Publications Act, 1946, and (b) Section 10 of that Act; (2) the number of (a) books, and (b) publications involved in such appeals, and (3) the number of prohibition orders (a) revoked, and (b) varied, arising out of such appeals.
