asked the Minister for Local Government if he is aware that the Kerry County Council have submitted recommendations to his Department regarding housing requirements at Cromane, County Kerry; and, if so, whether he is now in a position to state when the necessary sanction will be forthcoming for this scheme.
Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Kerry Housing Needs.
Mr. Murphy
No recommendations relating to housing requirements at Cromane have been submitted to my Department.
I understand from the Kerry County Council that they propose to erect 31 labourers' cottages in the Cromane area in pursuance of the scheme they are preparing for the entire county. This scheme has not yet been submitted to the Department, and I am not, therefore, in a position to state when it will be sanctioned.
