An inspection and survey of the quay, known as McCarthy's Quay, at Crookhaven, was recently made for the purpose of preparing a plan and estimate of cost for the extension of the structure. The question of a grant towards the execution of the work as an employment scheme will be considered, when the estimated cost has been determined.
