Vol. 118 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Moore Park Estate, County Cork.

asked the Minister for Finance whether he is now prepared to hand over the Moore Park estate, Kilworth, County Cork, to the Land Commission for division amongst congests and uneconomic holders in the area; and, if not, whether he will state the reasons for not doing so.

The Moore Park estate will be sold to the Land Commission on the enactment of enabling legislation for which proposals will shortly be introduced.

Is the Minister aware that at the moment an effort is being made to rehabilitate the Fianna Fáil organisation in Kilworth and that an agitation has arisen as a result of a question of mine some months ago?
