The delay in proceeding with the erection of the new school at Araglen was originally due to the difficulty in obtaining a suitable site in this mountainous locality. A Grant-in-Aid of the work has, however, now been sanctioned and the Commissioners of Public Works are at present engaged in the preparation of working drawings and specification with a view to the invitation of tenders.
