Vol. 119 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Acquisition and Division of Clare Lands

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state when the Land Commission propose to acquire and distribute the Studdert Farm at Ballindangan, Quin, County Clare.

This estate was acquired recently and the Land Commission expect to allot most of it at an early date.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state when the Land Commission propose to acquire and distribute the Studdert farm at Craghmoher, Corofin, County Clare.

The Land Commission have instituted proceedings for the acquisition of the estate in question but it is too early yet to state what the outcome will be.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state when the Land Commission propose to acquire and distribute the Jackson farm at Kilfenora, County Clare.

The lands of Moy More and Moy Beg on this estate were acquired recently and will be allotted in time for the spring sowing.

The lands I referred to are situated at Kilfenora and not at Lahinch. I think the farms the Minister referred to are at Lahinch. The Minister told me months ago that these lands were almost acquired. I am interested in the lands at Kilfenora.

All right, I will look into that. It is quite possible there may be two farms on the one estate.
