I hope to be in a position early in the present session to introduce a short Bill containing proposals for the making of ex gratia payments to certain classes of persons whose claims for compensation in respect of loss arising from the abolition of fresh-water netting could not be dealt with under Section 35 of the Fisheries Act, 1939.
