Vol. 121 No. 16

Questions— Oral Answers. - Postal Services.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will arrange to have the Castlerea mail car take the route via Ballymoe, Glynsk, and have a letter pillar box erected at Tobberroe, as the people in that locality have five miles to travel to post their letters.

I regret that because of the considerable expense which would be entailed, it is not practicable to divert the Castlerea mail car as suggested. As regards providing a letter box at Tobberroe, I find that the amount of correspondence likely to be posted would not justify the cost of erection and maintenance of a box.
