Vol. 122 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Insignia on Post Box.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs whether he is aware that the collecting box at Tankardstown, Bansha, County Tipperary, still bears the insignia of imperial domination; and if so, whether he will have it removed immediately.

The letter-box in question is only one of many throughout the country which bear British symbols. Whenever a suitable opportunity arises to recover it for repair or other purpose the symbols will be removed before reissue.
