On the basis of quotations ruling at present for imported seed the maximum cost of seeding an acre of Ymer barley would be approximately 66/-. The cost of liming and fertilising for a high yield will naturally depend upon the existing level of fertility in the plot proposed to be sown and an attempt to estimate the average cost would be of little practical value.
