asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if investigations have been made by the Industrial Development Authority into the possibility of manufacturing in this country a more efficient and economic type of kitchen range in which home-produced household fuel could be used; and, if so, with what result.

There are already on the market different types of efficient and economical kitchen ranges of Irish manufacture which have been designed for the burning of home-produced household fuel. No investigations have been made by the Industrial Development Authority.
