asked the Minister for Local Government whether a copy of a resolution passed by the Kerry County Council on 4th December regarding the allocation of labourers' cottages in County Kerry has been received in his Department, and if, in justice to the persons in possession of the plots in question, he will ensure that the terms of the resolution referred to are implemented in the near future.

I have received a copy of a resolution recently passed by the housing committee of Kerry County Council on the subject mentioned. I would refer the Deputy to the reply given by me on the 7th instant to a similar question in which I indicated that there were certain difficulties in the way of giving effect to the suggestion but that I was considering the means of enabling proposals such as those of Kerry County Council's to be met.
