andMr. Mongan asked the Minister for Lands if he will make the necessary provision in areas where there is a shortage of fuel, because of bad weather conditions during the turf-cutting season, so that non-commercial timber may be placed at the disposal of all people at a reasonable cost to enable them to have sufficient firing during the winter and early spring months.

There is very little firewood timber in the State forests, but whenever any such timber becomes available in the ordinary course, it is disposed of as quickly as possible.
