asked the Minister for Local Government whether he is aware that plans and specifications for a 96-house scheme for Muinebeag were submitted for his approval by the Carlow County Council on the 11th July last and that subsequently a revision of the scheme was submitted on the instructions of his Department, and if he will now indicate what progress has been made in the matter.

The revised plans for the proposed housing scheme at Muinebeag to which I referred in my reply to the Deputy's question of 13th December last, were received in my Department on the 19th ult. The documents are being examined and a decision in the matter will be conveyed to the county council within a week.
