asked the Minister for Local Government whether he will indicate the amount of the road grant that will be made available to the Kérry County Council for the coming financial year and also the amount for the current financial year.
Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Kerry Road Grant.
The Road Fund grants notified to Kerry County Council for the financial year 1951/52 are as follows:—(a) a free grant of £28,200 for improvement works on main roads; (b) a free grant of £64,400 for improvement work on county roads; (c) recoupment of 40 per cent. of approved expenditure on the upkeep of main roads. These grants are on the same scale as the grants made available for 1950/51.
