asked the Minister for Local Government if he is aware of the difficulties of many applicants for loans under the Small Dwellings Acts due to houses being valued for over £2,000 brought about by the increase in the cost of materials and that loans are being refused to many persons, thus causing hardship and delay to them in the provision of housing for their families, and, if so, what steps he proposes to take in the matter.
