No doubt the Deputy has in mind the components of "Total Savings" as given in Table 5 of the recent White Paper, "Tables of National Income and Expenditure, 1938 and 1944-50" (Pr. 350). While it is hoped to give the particulars for 1950 and preliminary estimates for 1951 in the next issue of the White Paper early next year, it will not be possible, at any stage, to give monthly estimates, as requested by the Deputy, for reasons which will be evident from the notes to the relevant items in the White Paper (Pr. 350).
