Vol. 128 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Bantry Strand Pathway.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will indicate the reasons for the delay in carrying out the erection of a strand pathway at Kilkihan West, Cahirmore, Bantry, having regard to the fact that money has been provided for a considerable time for the work.

A grant was sanctioned this year towards the provision of a concrete pathway, with steps, from the boat mooring to the high water mark at Kilkihan West strand, Kilnamanagh, County Cork.

Owing to the number of sanctioned minor marine works which were already awaiting execution in County Cork, it was not found possible to have this work put in hand this year. It is hoped, however, to have it done in 1952.
