Certain data regarding the channel bed at Wexford which was required for the examination of this scheme was received from the harbour commissioners on 14th December last. The report of the engineers, based on this data, has now been received. I hope to be in a position, in the near future, to advise the harbour commissioners of the decision taken on their application.
The Minister appreciates that this thing is going on for a long time.
I am aware that it is going on for two or three years. I can assure the Deputy, I think, that a decision will not be delayed very long.
