With the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos. 4 and 5 togther.

The information asked for by the Deputy in these questions includes almost all the items in the Balance of International Payments Statement for 1951. The statement is not yet available but every effort is being made to complete it as soon as possible and it is hoped to publish it within the next fortnight.

Will the Parliamentary Secretary say whether the estimate for last year's deficit in the balance of payments was based on the 1950 figures for invisible exports?

That is a separate question.

If the Deputy puts that question down I will be able to answer it.
