The total quantity of wheat held in stock by Grain Importers (Éire), Limited, and by the flour millers on 5th April, 1952, amounted to 146,288 tons.
The total quantity of tea held in stock by Tea Importers, Limited, on 31st March, 1952, amounted to 9,600 tons.
I am informed by Comhlucht Siúicre Éireann, Teo., that the total quantity of sugar held in stock by them on 31st March, 1952, amounted to 86,000 tons.
It is not possible to give a reliable estimate of the quantities of these commodities held in stock by traders.
