I am not aware of any recent decision of the American Government in this matter. The Deputy may perhaps be referring to newspapers' reports of a resolution which recently passed the Foreign Affairs Committee of the United States House of Representatives. This resolution has no legal effect unless and until passed by both Houses of the United States Congress.
