asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce whether there have been any recent developments which give rise to hope for an early settlement of the strike of Córas Iompair Éireann electricians; and, if not, whether he will indicate what steps he proposes to take to resolve the present situation whereby the strikers are enduring considerable hardships and large numbers of Dublin suburban dwellers are greatly inconvenienced through lack of adequate bus services, particularly in the new housing areas of Ballyfermot, Crumlin and Finglas.
