The Electricity Supply Board has under consideration the question of the erection of a turf-fired generating station in the vicinity of Lanesboro', County Longford, adjacent to Ballyleague, but a final decision in the matter has not yet been reached.
Would the Minister be in a position to indicate whether or not the Electricity Supply Board have plans to utilise the coal from Arigna in conjunction with the turf in the Ballyleague area power station?
