asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state, in respect of the month of January, 1949, 1950, 1951, 1952 and 1953, the number of men employed by the Wexford County Council on (1) roads; (2) drainage under the Local Authorities (Works) Act, and (3) house building.

As the reply is in the form of a tabular statement, I propose, with your permission, a Leas-Cheann Comhairle, to circulate it with the Official Report.

The numbers of men employed by the Wexford Corporation on house building were 103, 163, 152, 126 and 112 respectively, on 31st January in the years 1949, 1950, 1951, 1952 and 1953.
