Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dried Milk Imports.

asked the Taoiseach if he will state the quantities and price per lb. of (i) powdered milk, (ii) dried milk, (iii) condensed milk and (iv) foods made from dried milk imported in each of the years 1950, 1951 and 1952, and ineach of the months July, 1952, to January, 1953, inclusive, from Britain, Holland and other countries respectively.

I intend with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle to circulate in the Official Report a statement providing the required information.

Following is the statement:—

Quantity and average c.i.f. price per lb. of condensed milk, dried or powdered milk and foods made wholly or partly from dried or powdered milk, imported in each of the years 1950, 1951 and 1952 and in each of the months from July, 1952 to January, 1953, inclusive, distinguishing imports from Britain, Netherlands and other countries.
