My information is that about 5 per cent. of the cattle numbers in the Six Counties are in attested herds.
A proposed scheme for the eradication of tubercular cattle is amongst the schemes presented to the American authorities for the utilisation of moneys in the Grant Counterpart Special Account. Pending the agreement of the American authorities to the proposed utilisation of these moneys, I have nothing to add to my reply to the Deputy's similar question on 6th March, 1952.
