I am not in a position to say when promotions in the Reserve—First Line—will be accelerated.
Is the Parliamentary Secretary aware that there is growing dissatisfaction, particularly amongst emergency officers who are now serving in the First Line Reserve, at the continuation of their low ranks over a long period of years, while normal promotion has accelerated people infinitely junior to them in command?
I am not so aware, but I will mention the matter to the Minister.
