My Department does not execute works of the kind mentioned by the Deputy. I understand that the development works in connection with which funds were made available to An Bord Iascaigh Mhara from the Exchequer or the Central Fund in the current financial year are being carried out by the board. Proposals have been submitted by the board for further development works in the coming financial year and these are under consideration in connection with the Estimates for that year.
I take it the Parliamentary Secretary is not in any way interfering with the programme already prepared.
