I take it that the question relates to the slip at Cuas-a-Dubglais, Cape Clear. This structure is in the care of the Cork County Council who have furnished, with a view to obtaining financial assistance, proposals for improvements consisting of the provision of a winch, hand-rail and bollards and the widening of the head of the slip. My Department has referred the matter to the Office of Public Works for an engineering report and estimate of cost.
