Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Allocation of County Mayo Bog Plots.

Mr. Calleary

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state whether applicants from Lacken parish, County Mayo, will be allocated bog plots in the townlands of Clydagh and Annaghbeg, on the McDermott estate, in the coming year.

Mr. Blowick

The Land Commission will not be in a position to allot this bog in the coming year; at present they merely own shares in it, although they are attempting to negotiate the purchase of the remaining shares.
