Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Cork Lands.

asked the Minister for Lands whether the State lands at Kilworth, County Cork, have yet been transferred to the Land Commission, and, if so, when they will be divided among uneconomic holders of land in the district.

Negotiations between the Land Commission and the Office of Public Works are in progress but it is not possible at present to state when the lands will be transferred to the Land Commission.

asked the Minister for Lands if the Land Commission have yet inspected the Creagh Barry estate, Dundellerick, Lemlara, County Cork, with a view to acquiring it for division among uneconomic holders of land in the district.

This estate of 306 acres has been acquired and 142 acres have already been allotted; the remaining 164 acres will be allotted as soon as possible.

asked the Minister for Lands if the Land Commission have yet acquired the holdings of P. and J. Ryan at Ballycotton, County Cork, and, if so, when the lands will be divided among uneconomic holders of land in the district.

Negotiations for the purchase of these lands are proceeding but some difficulties have yet to be removed before the lands come into possession of the Land Commission.
