asked the Minister for Social Welfare if he will state, in respect of the contribution year 1954-55, the amounts paid into the insurance fund under the Social Welfare Act in respect of (a) employers' contributions, (b) employees' contributions, and (c) subvention or payment from State funds.

The required information in respect of the year ended 31st March, 1955, is:— (a) Employers' contributions, £2,773,061; (b) employees' contributions, £2,477,003; (c) payment on account of State grant, £2,098,000.
