Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Cork Disablement Allowances.

asked the Minister for Health if he will state, in respect of the South Cork Board of Assistance, the number of applications for disablement allowances (a) received to date, (b) approved, (c) rejected, and (d) awaiting decision.

The Disabled Persons (Maintenance Allowances) Regulations, 1954, are administered in the South Cork Board of Assistance area by the Cork Corporation and Cork South County Council from whom it has been ascertained that the position in regard to the applications received during the period 1st October, 1954, when the scheme first came into operation, to the 25th February, 1956, is as follows:—
