The Chairman of the Company Law Reform Committee died recently, and the appointment of a new Chairman is under consideration at present. I am informed that the death of the Chairman has delayed the preparation of the report and that it is unlikely to be available before the end of the year.
Could the Minister state when this committee was set up?
It was appointed by the Attorney-General in March, 1951.
