asked the Minister for Local Government if he is in a position to state from his Department's records the number of Dáil and Seanad candidates in each of the general elections of September, 1927, and 1932, and the Seanad triennial elections of 1928 and 1931, who complied with Sections 2 and 3, respectively, of the Electoral (Amendment) (No. 2) Act, 1927, and subscribed to the schedule to that Act; and whether any candidates who failed, or refused, to comply with the terms of the sections were accepted as candidates or were elected as Deputies or Senators.
