asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state the number of persons employed on road works by each county council on the 1st February, 1958, and 1957, respectively.

Returns furnished by local authorities relate to employment on the last day of the month. The reply is in the form of a tabular statement which, with your permission a Cheann Comhairle, will be circulated with the Official Report.
