I made a fairly detailed statement on the matter in the course of the discussion on the Second Reading of the recent Fisheries Bill. There is no need for me to say any more at this stage, but if the Deputy cares to raise the matter on the occasion of the Estimate, I shall go further into it.
Is the Minister aware that this legislation was previously promised by a member of his Government in this House?
