Clare County Council were informed on 24th January, 1959, that consideration would be given to a special grant for this road if suitable proposals were submitted. The preparation of these proposals and the acquisition of the necessary land and the execution of the scheme are the responsibility of the county council, who are at present engaged in making a survey for the scheme preparatory to formulating their proposals.
