So far as I can ascertain, no scheme for exchanging prison officers between member states of the Council of Europe is in existence although the European Committee on Crime Problems is considering, at the request of the Committee of Ministers' Deputies, the desirability of organising such an exchange. When the report of the European Committee is available, I shall give the matter careful attention.
