Would the Minister state whether fees were actually paid to State counsel who prosecuted on behalf of the wrong Minister?
That is a separate question.
If they prosecuted at all they prosecuted on behalf of the State.
They made a "botch" of it.
And lost the case.
Every Minister carries collective responsibility.
Seemingly the judge did not recognise the collective responsibility and dismissed the case.
