Four holdings in Liscat are the subject of acquisition proceedings. In a fifth case, the owner's objection was allowed last summer.
On the general aspect, the Land Commission have investigated nine holdings in this townland for possible acquisition and no opportunity will be lost to procure suitable lands for the relief of congestion in Liscat and the surrounding townlands.
