Accounts in respect of the expenses of the issue of the £12 million of 5¼% National Development Loan in November, 1959, have not yet been completed, but the total expenses are estimated to be £81,900, of which £45,000 represents underwriting commission, £28,180 brokerage commission and £8,720 other expenses, including advertising.
